Overview

"Illumination Board" is a puzzle game where you place 7 kinds of tiles to build a path from the power source to the light source and chase a high score.

Game Rules

Basic

  • The placement rule is simple: each tile must touch another tile, and its path must connect without breaking.
  • Any tile that cannot be placed anywhere will be discarded.
  • There are 7 types of tiles in total.
  • These tiles connect paths.
  • These tiles split the powered path into multiple directions.
  • This tile is illuminated when powered and adds to your score.

End Conditions

  • The game ends when any of the following conditions are met:
    • When the tile stock reaches zero and all tiles have been placed.
    • When none of the remaining tiles can be placed anywhere.
    • When the positive and negative power sources become connected by a path. (circuit shorted)
    • When no more paths can be extended from any power source. (circuit closed)

Scoring: Terminals

  • +100pts x [Number of tiles between the correct Power and Terminal tile].
  • +60pts x [Number of tiles between the different Power and Terminal tile].

Scoring: Tiles

  • +10pts when the tile gets supplied a Power.
  • +8pts when thi first path gets supplied a Power, +4pts when the second path gets supplied a Power.
  • +30pts x [Number of the path]. The Power type doesn't matter.

Others

  • If all four corner terminal sources are connected with the correct polarity, the entire board is illuminated. At the same time, you earn a large bonus!
  • Logging in is required to register your score with the leaderboard.

Operation Guide

  • Left-click (macOS: one-finger click): Place a tile.
  • Right-click (macOS: two-finger click): Rotate a tile.
